Five hacks for effective instagram marketing!!

Well who doesn't love to scroll through countless instagram posts in their spare time. The app has a pretty fascinating attraction for people who love perfectly filtered photos of their friends and family. On the contrary, it's a great marketing tool as well and if utilized effectively it can bump up your brand image on the top. Here are some instagram marketing tools that you should consider before you jump into this awesome social media site.

1. Embed for more traffic: If you want to increase engagement rate and increase traffic then you should embed your instagram post on your website or blog. You can use SnapWidget for this purpose. Therefore if you act smart, you can attract visitors to follow your instagram account.

2. Share material from other instagram accounts:: Sharing images from accounts that have huge following tells a lot about your taste. It's an excellent way to build up relationship with your visitors. Check out the tool ' Repost for Instagram' which shares images from other instagram sources while giving them credit.

3. Timing matters: Managing an instagram account can sometimes be hectic if you have to schedule each and every post . The best way to increase your efficiency is to use a tool called 'ScheduGram'. Through this you can manage multiple instagram accounts and schedule your posts accordingly.

4. Keeping track of your performance: You need to follow up on your account's performance and make sure that you're getting the desired number of visitors. You can use an instagram analytics tool called 'Iconosquare' to look at some detailed stats and find out whether your marketing strategy is working or not.

5. A good image can turn the trick: That's what your page visitors will be looking at and make sure that it's the reflection of your brand . Check out the tool ' A Colour Story' . This app will notch up your images for whatever professional theme you desire.

Do share some other tools that you find helpful!!

Cheers

Thanks for the post, it's great to use other people's knowledge and experience to help do things better and I really appreciate everyone sharing their information.
I'd disagree with the use of scheduling tools on Instagram. Only because at this stage, it violates Instagram's term of use. It's designed as an app to be used on-the go 'Insta' and scheduling posts throws that out of the window. If Instagram chose to, they could wipe your account without giving you much grounds to get your content back.
Always remember that once you've uploaded your content to a social media site, it no longer belongs to you so you have to do what the powers that be say! Just a little tip for you Apart from that, I loved this post - thanks!

Instead of just randomly liking hundreds of accounts one time, be mindful about truly building a community. Be a regular commenter, liker and really strive to build a relationship. Engage also with your regular commenters and likers. Comment on their photos that you appreciate.

There are a few things that I'll add to this. Obviously using Instagram effectively depends on your niche and your motive for posting but there are a few things to consider to run an effective marketing campaign, I hope you find them useful:

    Be consistent.
A lot of people post lots when they first set up the account, but then they realise how time consuming it is! It's important that you post regularly so your followers can build a relationship with you which is generally the idea for Instagram marketing. If you go weeks without making contact they forget about you and are likely to unfollow.

    Brand your images.
If you want your target market to get your brand in their head, which I think is the whole goal of this, then brand your images with your logo/tagline or anything that they can associate with you - it's key for getting your product at the forefront of their mind so that even if they don't need you now, as soon as they do you'll be the first person they think of.

    Use relevant hashtags.
Good use of hashtags is a great way to build your following for a more effective campaign. Don't put them in ad hoc, to get the most out of your hashtagging it's important that you use things which are relevant so you don't get lost in the crowd. I can tell you right now that using 'cake' is guaranteed to get you very little visibility. Try 'iced donut with a cherry on top' instead - guaranteed to get the attention of the people who are searching for that very item.

    Set your profile to public.
Such a silly point but one that's often overlooked! So many people are posting so that only their followers can see what they're posting - make your profile public so that everyone knows what you're about.

    Use Instagram Stories.
Earlier this year Instagram released their stories which allows people to post video updates as they go. It's a great little tool and means that your target market get to see glimpses of the real you which is really important these days when everyone's fighting for attention.

    Be genuine.
Posts that aren't authentically linked to you and your brand are a waste of time. Apart from anything, you'll only attract the wrong sort of followers - if they're not going to enhance your business, what's the point in having them?

    Complete your profile.
You can upgrade your Instagram account to a business profile now. This means that you can have insights on all your posts (similar to Facebook) and a 'Contact' button to take people to your email address or phone number. Apart from this, it's also important that you've updated the rest of your profile to let people know who you are, what you do and where you do it.

Each and every one of your posts has the potential to take the world by storm so it's essential that , for the good of your business, you're prepared.
    Cheers Ads

In my experience, Instagram is a little tricky but the easiest hack is just to be consistent in both posting and following. The account will build itself naturally over time with real people interested in your niche.
