My current business is in a niche I can't promote on mainstream sites.
So now I'm going to try a mainstream niche and would like suggestions how to best set up a fb page. I do not want to connect it to my private fb account so I wanted to add a new account and a fb page. But it's against the rules to add a second private account or not use your real name . But without a private account to connect with the page I can't join groups in my niche etc.

Any suggestions how to do this correctly?

It's kind of hard to decipher the context of your message. Can you elaborate the main issue a little bit more clearly?

My mere inference from what I think is that you are kind of double minded about whether you could operate your business Fb page from your private account or not?

Just setting up a page with my personal profile then I can't interact in various groups and pages. So I wanted a separate profile to join these groups (no, not to spam - interact).
But since it's against the rules I was wondering if there was something I was missing, maybe another way around it.
Been googling but can't find anything so I assume a fake second profile is needed... Just hope it doesn't get flagged then.

I think you are confusing two different things. You do not need a FB page to join a group. In fact a page cannot join a group just a personal profile. Yes I believe multiple personal accounts violate the TOS but people do it.

I think you're confused by my post lol
I know the limitation of a fbpage and that's why I want a fbprofile connected to it - but I don't want to use my personal profile. Yet the rules states you are not allowed to create fake fbprofiles.
My question here was if there was a legal way to create a second profile and use for a fbpage. But it appears that there's not and everyone who has the same setup uses a fake profile for their page.

Well I assume english is not your first language, so it is little bit unclear what you asked. But if you asked whether to create a fake profile to promote something that is not your main niche. And you don't want to get your main account banned, then yes fake account is better.

Oh great, just a couple of douches telling me my english sucks.
I don't want to use my private fbprofile when creating a fbpage and wanted to know if there was a way around that without breaking their rules. If that was too difficult to understand then don't reply. Geesh.

You can always use a fake account or use a screen name or your nick name instead of your real name, that way it can still be you and people won't entirely see you as a different person.

But why is it that you don't want to connect your personal profile to your page? If you don't mind

Since I haven't sat up a page before I just wanted to know I did it correctly the first time.
I wanted to have a page, but also a profile connected to it so I can join fb groups and participate (not spam or anything illegal).

I really don't want to 'mix business with pleasure' with everyone and their friends on my private profile. It's just a personal preference.

  • Set up a Facebook page. One very good example is, post other content types as well. If your only posting photos and videos, you may notice a decline in your Facebook reach and engagement. While photos and videos are proven to be the most engaging content formats on facebook, too much of a good thing can be bad for your facebook page. So try switching up the type of content you share to increase the chance your audience sees them. Share links to articles, post offers, etc.

you have to try with the name of the person in your family who does not have Fb account then go for FB business page everything will be legalized you don't need to worry about but if you use FB account with fake name that wouldn't harm also so you have to try at least

You should use your real name on facebook to promote your business. You can open page from your facebook account. Then you can promote that page to get followers of your page. Then you can post promotional post from your pages and it will be great source for your marketing of your business. You can will get huge customer from facebook page.

Thank you for the suggestions. But using someone elses name or my real name is out of the question.
