Theres been a fair bit of heat on facebook after the election - some of it self imposed - the criticism of it being that it provided a medium for false news and misinformation to spread. Personally I dont think that its facebooks responsibility to ensure that everything that others post on their website is true. I think it should be on the people themselves to think critically enough to make their own minds up, given the credibility of the source, and other factors. Does anyone think the same?
Is it the responsibility of facebook to monitor whether the content that people post is fake?
