Apparently snapchat is used by 100 million people every day and can make 1 billion in advertising in 2017 alone. Its amazing how such a simple idea can create such a mammoth amount of cash. Can anyone think of a simpler idea that went this big?

    Uber is now-days a well known sensation especially in Canada and US. It's revenues undoubtedly have soured into billions. The concept behind it is pretty straightforward but has taken over the world by storm. It delivers transportation with a click away and on top of that it's cheaper than the conventional cab ride.

      The operational and logistical dynamics of Uber I think are far more complex than most realize. In light of OP's post, I can't actually think of a more simple business model that has the ability to generate billions of dollars in revenue..

    Facebook was a simple idea, but took years to get to the point they are now. They didn't even care about making money for the first 5+ years.
