Which one would bring more traffic ROI, a YouTube video or Pinterest graphic?

For example: the cost of producing a YouTube video is equivalent to making 5 Pinterest graphics. Which of the 2 initiatives would drive more traffic?

Consider the cost of producing each asset and how much traffic they drive.

In very general terms, which would you invest in?

Both would be good at specific niches like if you have a product which is related to women's then Pinterest would be better but if you are after a product which is related to HowTo then Youtube would be best.

In my opinion, Youtube would be best.

Well...from my experience, How-to is actually working very well on Pinterest. I would personally invest more time on Pinterest than Youtube since it takes more work to make a great video than an awesome image.
