Are you an early adopter or a late adopter?

Early adopter is the typical geek who is always the first to try new tools, social networks, gadgets, recipes, etc. A late adopter is quite the opposite. He does not want to risk losing his time with new trends that will probably disappeared tomorrow.

I must say im definetely an early adopter, I love to test new features and networks when they have just been launched, even if all the rest of the world is not doing it yet.

There are no absolute truths. My personal strategy is not necessarily the only one in the world. Many marketers are distinguished by being among the first in everything. It is a strategy that works very well for them. So the question is: is it better to be early or late adopter?

There may be an intermediate path . I am not the first to test a new tool but when I do I want to master it at 99% (100% does not exist). This means learning a lot at the beginning to reach that level and then being one of the first to try new applications or functionalities within the theme. I am an early adopter thematic in that regard.

In Facebook Ads I follow that strategy. I have already launched several Instagram Ads campaigns. At the same time I have also created several forms with the new Lead Ads. All this has just come out and there are people who still do not even have access to it.

When you are already convinced of the usefulness of a field in which you move you contribute a lot to be the first to put into practice novelties. You eliminate the risk of insecurity because you move within a domain that you already dominate. The novelties and their implementation give you a temporary advantage until the rest of the world has also put the batteries. This works for me.

What kind of strategy works best for you?
