Self making add campaigns or hiring someone ?
What is the difference that someone can make. Is the price you pay the person to run the campaign justified or could the hiring price be used to get additional, overal more significant, results yourself, running the campaign yourself.
I still mean paying for the add design and then trying out myself and self educating.
2) part of the thread ; which platforms are considered the best, in my case for a HipHop career, guess any type of musician has a similar situation.
Google addword to get to the website clicks seems dumb as whoever is looking for you will find you trough your unique name and I doubt general add words like new music and hiphop will generate much traffic to a artist website.
What are the basics you would recomend. Im leaning towards youtube, as its visual and if you watch a clip its basically a "hit" out of a hit and miss scenario.
Also I wanna have a good website so Ill try to pay for website traffic.
All in the planing and education phases right now, so its not urgent, Im just "self-educating" myself now.
Also I wanna do the old dont put all your eggs in one bascket trick and think about doing very cheap slow add bids to get results troughout months, cheap clicks. As a music career is to be promoted 365. And a slow campaign is the most cost effective. As in the begining building a fanbase and awarness is the goal and not pumping money into a specific, time limited, project. Basically I intend on doing a free 5 song ep and shooting a video for each track. And paying to get the cd spread for free in the real world. Amongst other things.

Though they say in music you invest into a single, not sure bout that one, Im trying out 5 songs. What if the one song you choose doesnt pick off. Also in the age of youtube and social media I think more content is needed, also as a start from scratch scenario where you dont have access to big radio or tv chanells.
