Hey

I have a domain and have forwarded it to a landing page, how would I go about tracking
the amount of clicks the link gets?

I have tried some free link trackers but they are all banned from posting on instagram.

I have the domain in my bio but just want to track how many clicks im getting from instagram

Can't you track the traffic to that landing page via Google Analytics? Is Instagram the only source of traffic to that landing page? Which free link trackers have you tried? Google's campaign URL builder should work: https://ga-dev-tools.appspot.com/campaign-url-builder/

I used to use trck.me and it has extensive features and details. I currently use hitsconnect.com which has free and upgraded options. You can see exactly where your traffic is coming from. It even gives the IP of the visitors so you can research and see if it is a real visitor or a bot.

my 2c:
1) free link trackers are no good. I've tested a few of them. Some websites would block them, but the worst part is that their statistics are not always accurate, and don't match GA.
2) just use GA and UTMs - there's a ton of info on that.
3) There are a bunch of free analytics solutions. If you don't like GA or can't find the right info there - just take a tour on any other one.

I use ClickMagick and love it. It's easy to use and figure out but it is not free it's like $47 per month after a 14 day free trial.

Bit.ly and Goo.gl is not banned on Instagram I guess your domain is banned use some other domain and see.

Or you can also add codes in your landing pages to track visitors over statcounter or Analytics.

Add utm source and use analytics tool like GA and gostats on your site to track those links.
