Facebook Ads drop in conversion rate
Yesterday I've uploaded an advertisement on Facebook advertising platform and drove traffic to my squeeze page. The advertisement was working well the first few hours, I had on average a conversion rate of $1.5/sub but after a couple of hours the conversion rate skyrocketed to $6/sub.
The surprising thing was that the advertisement worked perfectly fine, and the only number that changed was the conversion rate. The website was converting normal and all of a sudden it started to deteriorate in terms of conversion.
I was targeting Australia in the IM niche. Why the conversion was skyrocketed? Does it have to do with the audience? I have one audience, with many different interests in the IM niche but how can people with different interests within IM niche can behave so differently if this is the case?
I would appreciate if you could give me some advice cause this is really frustrating.
