Multiple YouTube Copyright Takedown Notices in Same Day?

Hi,

I know YouTube has a three copyright strike maximum, but what if a copyright holder files, say, 10 takedown notices against a single account in the same day? The account holder can legally counter all 10 of these notices, but does YouTube shut down the account before the account holder is able to counter because the YouTube system shows the account as having 10 strikes??

Thanks for any insights.

    hi,

I used a music directory site that said that all of the music on the site was placed their by the makers. Many of these people sampled music on the site and made their own versions from stems, but again with permission.

a major issue i have had, is that even with following all of the giving credit to these musicians either they got famous or their seed musicians got famous then revoked their 'free for commercial' use promises.

THEN youtube will call your video an infringement, take you down or take away your motorization.

This is completely illegal but you will never win against google or yourube. and no, telling them all this makes no difference. they are in the making money game, not doing what is right. I have stopped making videos with music until I find a way that will prevent this cluster F&&k in the future.

    Good luck, b

Thanks for the response. You would think music that was used when it was royalty free would be somehow "grandfathered" in and protected after the music became copyright protected.

I was under the impression you were given a chance to take it down yourself and if you did it would all be fine. If you do not then it is defiantly a tick against you.

I have had my monetization taken away from me a few times for what was royalty free music at one point, and still stated as such, then some scummy third party company decided to protect their rights for them and share some money with the artist... at my expense, and many others. It is a dirty game to let something still be labeled as free and attract people like me to use it, then steal the money away.... I would not have used it if it was not free. And in one instance I only used the music for 5% of the video, but lost 100% of all the money.
