I have heard a few times of creating a pinterest account and then going to the boards and following their followers because some of them will follow you back.

I see a lot of random unrelated follows from pinterest pages that are there to make money online.

Does this actually work?

What are some other ways to build a pinterest following?

Doubtful whether you will get anything worthwhile.

Not in my experience. Most people seem to be on pinterest purely for leisure purposes.
