You are not in trouble because they rejected your ad, it was just against the terms.
I had ads rejected before, just try another type of free offer and send them to a lead page.

they are just rejected you because of you just did not follow one for their rules

1. make sure you send traffic only in your squeeze page

2. make sure your destination link and display link are similar

3. make sure your image is not full of text. if you put a text make sure that its only 20% of a whole image

4. do not use all capital letter in the header or anywhere.

Advertising on facebook is like walking on thin ice. They can ban you forever for no reason. For facebook, amazon, google, etc you don't usually have a second chance to read their terms of service before its too late

I've never been banned. But when i first joined, I typed in my usual credit card and advertised for a few days. Then they paused my account for 3 weeks because my credit card looked suspicious? I had to appeal my case for no reason whatsoever.

I guess you haven't done very much advertising on Facebook then.

Sure, the majority of people they ban probably deserved it, but there are lots of legitimate advertisers that have been banned for no reason.

The same thing happens on all big ad networks. Adwords, Facebook, Twitter, Bing - they can decide they don't want to do business with you for any reason, wrong or right.

One of the most important sentences in their TOS is often one that gets overlooked by just about everybody.

It usually goes a little something like this: "As a user of our service, you agree that we reserve the right to suspend or close any advertising account at any time, for any reason, without prior warning, notice, or explanation."

Put bluntly, that means they can ban you anytime they want, for whatever reason they want, made up or otherwise, and you have no recourse.

I do agree with most of what you've said, John. There is, of course, always a reason for banning people. Surely they don't just sit there and shut down accounts for no reason.

However, sometimes they make mistakes. Nobody is perfect, especially corporations that large.

All I'm saying is that I'm sure there are people who have been banned for doing absolutely nothing wrong and not breaking any listed TOS.

I actually have to disagree with you a bit about Google hating Internet Marketers. While I will agree they don't "hate" marketers, I think they are a very greedy company and are constantly on the lookout to make sure that they are squeezing every penny out of everyone who is using their service.

There's nothing wrong with that. As you said, they have stockholders and they are running a business and their main goals are to make money and provide the best user experience possible.

It's just my own personal opinion, I guess. It just seems to me that a lot of the things they do are aimed at hurting marketers. If that helps to improve the user experience, then I guess I understand why they do it. As a marketer, I just don't like it.

You can advertise "Internet Marketing" related products, but not "make money online" or "work from home" or anything to do with MLM.

HOWEVER, it needs to be done right. People that are doing it right are absolutely crushing it.

One example is Ryan Deiss. I've opted in to many of his lead pages from Facebook.

So what is the "right" way to do it?

OK, first, you need to drill down into the niche. You can't advertise anything that has the words "make money online" or "work from home" or "home business," etc.

What you CAN advertise is a free ebook that teaches you how to write great emails. You can advertise a free video that teaches people how to write good blog posts or how to do proper SEO to rank your blog posts.

You can advertise an ebook that teaches people how to build a proper WordPress blog.

You can advertise a free report that shows local business owners how to take advantage of online advertising or how to get their business listed on Google, etc.

You can advertise an ebook that teaches people how to use Instagram. Heck, I've even seen people advertising ebooks that show people how to be successful with Facebook ads!

The point is, drill down into the "Internet Marketing" niche. Avoid the "make money online" and "work from home" approach.

I even have an Internet Marketing/Work From Home fan page and I get my promoted posts ads approved all the time. Even though it's a "work from home" fan page, the posts that I promote don't mention anything about "work from home" or "making money online."

I just promoted a post yesterday that was a review about a new social media software. I write reviews on my blog, post them to my fan page, and then promote the post. Never had a problem.

I've had some ads rejected before, but usually I can simply change up the wording or the image, resubmit, and the ad gets approved.

Here's something I bet a lot of people don't think is possible. I've often resubmitted the same exact post that got rejected and had it get approved. Why? A different moderator in Facebook's ad department reviewed the post and unlike the first mod, they had no problem with it. I do not recommend doing that, though. Just change what they want you to change and resubmit. The issue there is if you end up with the same moderator again and you have not changed the ad they might decide to take some kind of action against you for attempting to game the system.

As far as Bing ads is concerned, they seem to have no issues with "make money online/biz opp" stuff, but I expect that just like Adwords, the Bing ads gravy train is going to dry up soon and they will aim to tighten up their advertising policies just like Adwords. Right now Bing ads is in the same stage that Adwords was in circa 2000-2004. They are building up their customer and revenue base, and that means they have lower standards right now because it's all about the numbers. Trust me, this will change, and when it does, they will tighten up just like Adwords did.

If you really want to crank up your list building, get with a CPA network like Cash Network or Peerfly that offers biz opp pay per lead (PPL) offers and contact their advertising department. I believe they will require a large deposit upfront, such as $1000 (some bigger networks want $2000-$5000 upfront). Once you get your offer approved in the network, their affiliates will start promoting it. You will need to pay out anywhere from $1 - $2 per good lead (email or first name and email submit) to attract decent affiliates, but if you have the money, this is a phenomenal way to get targeted leads. Even at $2 per lead, you will get 500 targeted subscribers GUARANTEED from a $1000 ad spend.

You will probably end up paying around $2-$3 per lead from Facebook, so IMO, you are better off advertising in a CPA network because with the CPA network you will not have to worry about getting banned or any of the other headaches that come with advertising on FB.

Yes I can recommend many great solo sellers for you.

However, if you don't have a good squeeze page and funnel you will not do well with those. Same goes for a CPA network.

As far as a CPA network letting you begin to advertise with just $100 to start, I don't think so.

I'm not saying they don't exist, but I doubt there are any reputable networks who would require less than $1000 deposit.

Usually the way it works is you visit their advertiser application page, enter your details, and someone from the CPA company will call you (usually the person who will end up being your advertising manager).

You can ask them if they can work with you, but honestly, if you can't come up with at least $1000 to start your campaign with them, they may not even want to be be bothered with you.

Again, maybe you could find a new network that has just started up who will let you in for $100, but understand that they probably won't be able to deliver a lot of traffic for you right away while they are building their network up.

$1000 is really not that much. Get a part-time job and earn the money that way if you don't have it right away.

As many people have said, running an online business is loaded with obstacles and walls to climb. You need to be willing to do whatever is necessary to succeed, and if coming up with $1000 is one of the steps you need to take, you need to work hard and make it happen.

You are not going to be able to use that landing page. If you read my earlier posts, it explains why.

It's not only about the ad copy, it's also about what you are advertising.

One of the things that's against Facebook's TOS is advertising "Claims of unrealistic results within specific time frames."

You make the claim on your landing page that your ebook teaches people to "Go From Zero to 6 Figures Online in Less Than 90 Days." It's not a realistic expectation to think that downloading your ebook is going to show people to start making 6 figures from the Internet in 3 months or less.

Read this part of Facebook's advertising TOS and you should understand what I mean:

You'll never get that landing page approved. I told you what to do in an earlier post I made on this thread if you want to advertise in the "IM/MMO" niche.

I'm getting the feeling that you are waiting for someone to tell you what you want to hear so you can go back and try to advertise that landing page.

Furthermore, I don't think you've taken the time to read through the Facebook ads TOS, which is something you should probably do if you want to advertise on their website.

Also, I can see another problem with your page right away, and that's that you don't have a link to your privacy policy on the page. Also recommended are links to your terms of service and an earnings disclaimer. In other words, you need to have links to your legal pages.

You might also try building a landing page with your brand on it. Your business logo, your name, a picture of yourself, a link to an "About Me" page, etc.

Your landing page is great for solo ad traffic, but for Facebook, Bing, or Adwords, it probably won't fly.

  Your landing page should convert well with solo ads, provided the rest of your funnel is set up properly and you have purchased from an honest seller.
  
  If you want to use Facebook, you will need to contact them about the block, as it doesn't look like it's just going to be lifted on it's own.
  
  Maybe they just want to make sure you understand the TOS before opening your account for advertising again, and maybe they don't want to let you advertise anymore.
  
  The only way to find out is to contact Facebook and ask for help.

Of course the Facebook is one of the good place to get targeted traffic. If you want to use any site, you must accept the terms & conditions of the site. So before using the site, one should read the terms & conditions of the site. Now you can contact with the Facebook dispatch. Just tell them how to overcome this problem. Please don't take this the wrong way, but generally with any business, you get out what you put in.

It doesn't appear that you put very much thought or work into advertising on Facebook.

That's why you are having problems now.

Just because the copy came with the plugin doesn't mean it's OK to use it without reading the TOS of the site you want to advertise on.

I know that plugin is really great, but you will still need to customize your landing pages.

Branding yourself and your business is more important today that ever. 10 years ago people would put their email address into a form without even thinking if it looked like something they wanted.

Well, people are much more savvy today. They realize that they probably are not going to get anything great for free, and they are even more cautious about giving their email away to somebody they know nothing about.

If you took the time to at least build a really detailed "About Me" page and you branded your landing pages with a logo, a picture of yourself, and maybe even a short bio, you'd do much better all around.

Another things that's really helpful is to look at other ads on Facebook. Check out the landing pages people are using and model (don't STEAL) your landing page around some of those. This way you can get an idea of what is acceptable and you can avoid having issues with Facebook.

I'm still trying to figure out whether Facebook rejected your ad or closed your advertising account. The way it seems now, it looks like they have suspended your advertising account. They say first impressions are everything. Well, it's like that with Facebook ads too. Because you used that landing page, they now have an idea what you are all about. Even if it's not accurate, that's the impression Facebook has of you.

I hope now you understand the importance of carefully reading the TOS of any site you plan to advertise on, and also the importance of branding yourself and making a good first impression.

You should ask Facebook team to explain the reason. I think you can't give ad anymore to Facebook if they said like that. Try from another account with some modification for your ad to Facebook team. You can also try another media like google ads or something else. Any way check the rule and try again with modification.
