I'm a newbie affiliate wanting to use FB but....

Hello everyone. I'm a newbie affiliate wanting to use FB as a biz set-up for affiliate offers (advertising, promoting, etc...) BUT I've read some "HORROR" stories of people getting their affiliate FB site opened and FB shuts them down and they're locked out. I have also read of individuals who are self-proclaimed "gurus" stating they "have no fear of Facebook shutting their ad account down because they will have a new one up the next day" and "it's easy to do if you know how." I question if this is true?? And if so, then can someone inform me how to do so and thus put aside my intimidation? Thanks.

The only way you'd have an account up and running the next day is if your buying them. These accounts aren't cheap. Usually run $750 or more. There are other ways of getting them as well.

If you're just starting out I'd try a different traffic source. It's a pain in the ass to get anything going on Facebook if your an affiliate. Once you have your personal FB ad account banned it won't be easy to open up another one. Even if you do somehow manage to run ads on Facebook it's only a matter of time before Facebook closes your account. Usually about a month. If you're lucky, then two months.

Thank you. I was unaware that you could actually "purchase" accounts. What other Social Media would you recommend for a newbie?

Ok, FB rule No1, only one account per person.
Well, I prefer a little insurance policy, I'm not going to be dictated to by a serious business machine that wants to keep all the money itself.

Seriously if you are going to get anywhere in IM in your formative training years, then be prepared for a bump now and then and that means accounts closed from time to time.

Never use your personal email, to open accounts, in fact, you should guard all personal details (ID theft is rife until biometrics becomes the norm for logging in).

Always use a VPN you can have an account open in as little as 20 mins if you're lucky, certainly within 48 hours.

Thank you for your reply. My first thought was that they were using VPN's. I appreciate your time.

Can you only put 1 fan page per FB account. Or can you have more than 1 fan page on 1 Facebook account. I hope this makes sense.
