CPA Marketing + Instagram = $$$ .... Really???

Recently I am hearing many success stories in CPA affiliate marketing niche which are mainly based on Instagram. I am pretty much confused about these stories, real or fake??
As I know Instagram do not allow link in the post (only one link in the profile description). Thus, it's pretty hard to drive traffic from Instagram (without ads).

Therefore, If any of you have such success from Instagram traffic I would love to hear your story (if you can please detail). Instagram has become a massive platform and thus I am interested about this traffic source.

    You can certainly drive traffic from Instagram- I have had some success with education related CPA offers in the past with IG. the best option though is to have some site set up where you convert traffic onto the CPA offers. You will have little luck trying to direct link offers in the IG bio link.
