Hi guys,

As you can see from the title, I have a twitter newbie question...

Do you think it is better to buy a generic old twitter account with 100,000 inactive followers, that shows there are 100,000 followers, for $500.

Or start a brand new twitter account with 0 followers?

  • 100000 followers looks good, but if you get 0 likes and retweets on every post then it's not worth it. having 10 followers and 1 like/retweet is worth more than 100000 inactive followers.

  • I would say, Start fresh. Buying followers is taking the easy way and would probably cause you more stress. You can take that $500 and use it to get you followers. Try using microworkers or even mtruk to get you true followers. Just my opinion

    As other members said big accounts with no engagement are not good for buying.

  • I think you need natural followers. You need to impress people on your account.
    If you buy followers, it will be fake. So organic follower is the must.

  • If the account has 100,000 followers and they are walking away then
    it was either built using bot accounts or is so generic that it will be hard to monetize.

    Build your own brand and you will be better off in the end.

  • I will never pay to get followers. Short cuts usually don't work for long. I will advice to start with new account. It will take some time initially, to get followers but all this will be covered up gradually.

  • Instead of 100,000 inactive followers, why not buy 10 or 100 real active followers?
  • You can use your own account for that..or else you can buy some active followers...
  • I highly recommend you to start with a brand new twitter account..and maintain that account for your business purpose...
  • This kind of thing is not true..instead of buying bots you can always go for real followers...And the best thing is starting a new account for that.
  • You might do a test, separate accounts, one you built down from scratch and another one you acquired that already has followers.
