Instagram good for Marketing?

Hi,

I've across some articles whereas it stated that Instagram could help with your marketing. I could understand that it could be helpful to a model or even actor/actress. But to a net marketer? From what I've understand, Instagram is mostly just pictures, right? Am I missing something here?

    Yes, Instagram is mostly pictures but your products have pictures and videos. If the products you are marketing have those, then use them, upload the video, hashtag it, upload the pictures and hashtag them too.

    There are a lot of Instagram marketing techniques, use Google as it is your best bet now.

    It all really depends on what you're marketing to be honest. But you can use it to drive a good amount of traffic to review pages on your website.

    When I first got into instagram I was uploading short videos about quirky inventions and directing people to my website to make affiliate sales.

    However I soon realised that it was much easier to be an influencer and make money helping other people sell their stuff.

    The basic outline of being an influencer is...

    1) grow a big account in a niche
    2) tell people you do promo (in profile text)
    3) receive orders from people
    4) post their promo on your account

    I found this to be much easier and a lot more profitable.

    It can take a little longer to grow your accounts but the payments you receive for minimal effort is well worth the wait.

    Way of presenting your photos and videos , your editing skills, relevant hashtag to post, attractive caption, share instagram videos, make your account like anyone can found you easily are some of them tricks that is helpful in instagram marketing.

    If you have a physical product or provide services of value, you can definitely market them using Instagram. For example, your company provides carpet cleaning services. It would be a good idea to take a photo of your truck that displays your number, website, social media account details, email, slogan, etc. You can also catch one of your cleaners in action and take a before and after photo along with a catchy hashtag.

    It depends on your niche and how your approach is. If you promote using photos then this would work out for you. Take advantage of using the hashtags too.

    Social networking sites are always the best tool for marketing. You many online marketers depend on only social networking sites, they have the massive audience.
    Instagram is an excellent social network. Very rich, powerful and updated. You get mainly real customers here. So I think Instagram should have a great demand.
