You can use clickbank affiliate links on Facebook absolutely, but facebook is very strict on how you do it.

Do NOT post your raw affliate link, you have to cloak your link. And even some link cloaking tools like bit.ly will not work on facebook anymore.

The best way to do it is to create a custom domain, and put your affiliate link into that custom domain to cloak it.

What is a custom domain? For example, lets say you own a domain called mrflizo.com. To cloak an affiliate link and run a FB ad, you would create a custom domain name under mrflizo.com. It would look like this

myawesomeproduct.mrflizo.com, and this custom domain would be your link that you'd use in FB for whatever, a post or an ad.

You have to understand WHY creating custom domains is the best way to cloak links, and probably always will be no matter what. Why is it the best way?

Because Facebook and other social media platforms are VERY strict on how you post links because of link spamming.

The reason cloaking your affiliate links with bit.ly doesn't work on facebook anymore is because of people who spam and spam with bit.ly links over and over. So Facebook sees that and says, well I don't care who it is, I just see bit.ly links everywhere, so we're going to ban that DOMAIN, bit.ly.

So now, bit.ly links will not work in FB ads anymore, because any domain with bit.ly in it is banned.

So this is why you need to create your own custom domain, because it'll be unique to YOU, and nobody can ever spam and spam the crap out of facebook with your custom domain link, myawesomeproduct.mrflizo.com.

It's your link, and nobody will ever spam with it, because they have no incentive to. Why would someone else use your custom domain and post it all over FB if they'd just be driving sales to you, since your affiliate link is hidden inside in your custom domain? It's the best, safest way to cloak your links, and this WILL work on FB.

You can create custom domains in your domain registrar's dashboard. They're also known as CNAME records, and they're pretty easy to create, look into it, i hope this helps you.

Best advice I can give you is to just try things. Don't be afraid to just go for it. Obviously don't do unethical things that will get you banned from FB, but don't be afraid to try these things. Everyone's got opinions on FB ads, or bing or google or whatever.

But you won't ever know for yourself unless YOU try it for yourself, and find out if you like it and it works for you. If you do this, you wont miss out on potential opportunities, hope this helps

Very BIG thanks for your in-depth reply. I definitely don't want to get banned or be short term. I'm looking to build right from the start. Will do the link cloaking.

      Again, much appreciated.
