    A Youtube video can be promoted just like any other web page on the internet.

    You can blog about it and embed the video in your blog post, you can embed it onb any website your own or control content on, tweet about it on Twitter, make a post on Facebook and share with all your friends, you can advertise it on Youtube video ads for pennies per view, in display ads (embedded in a landing page), and even in Search ads, and many more places.

    A good way to promote your channel is by using other social media to promote them. E.g tweet about your videos add hashtags to your tweets.

    Get involved in communities such as forums.

    Join events that match the genre of your YouTube channel.

    Invest in better equipment or learn how to edit videos well good content is where it starts.
