Bloggers Outreach - Any Advice on Timing?
Hello everyone,
wondered if any of you have experience / could help with advise reg bloggers outreach?
I am building a campaign for a musician (social media, newsletter, paid FB ads, direct mailings etc). As part of the campaign we will be releasing one short 'behind-the-scenes' video each week.
A dedicated 'Latest Project" type section will go live on the artist's website on campaign start date and will gradually be filled with content over the length of the campaign (in sync with social media etc).
We will offer bloggers exclusive access to the artist (interviews etc.) and shares of the "Behind the scenes" videos before they go live on artist's website / social media.
My question is: WHEN would be the best time to approach relevant bloggers?
Would you send out the intro e-mail with a PK and private (unpublished) links to the videos, or rather wait for the 'Latest Project' section on the website and social media to be at least somewhat populated with actual campaign content?
