Delete the cookies and restart the browser, still if you face the same issue read the Facebook T&C and remove the content from the Facebook which you trying to post.

Deleted cookies, tried different devices, but the problem remains.
I am posting my own content to a blog and most of the content has been posted before, so I kept re-posting for years.

What should I read? How can reading help me?

I can still post as "editor", but my "admin" function is dead.
I tried to set me "editor" account as second "admin", but I can't do that either!

Contacted Facebook, but still no response...

Tried different devices, cleared cookies, but problem persists...
I can use account as "editor", but the "admin" is paralized. I am both, but I really need the "admin" function to work.

First and foremost, have you tried updating your Facebook? And have you tried accessing it from a different device?

If you've done all that and it's still a problem, are you also the owner of your page? If not, it's possible that the owner removed you as an admin.

I tried from a different device and I also cleared cookies and the problem persists.

I can only post as "editor", there I see things are working fine.

If I log in to the page account as "admin", then I can't do anything besides posting a note.

For example, if I am trying to post something, that grey "circle" keeps rotating - it's "loading" endlessly and never loads...
The blue buttons like "post" or "save" for settings are working when clicked.

I am the "admin" and the "editor" as well, there is no-one else!

I'm in your same boat, as do a DAMN LOT of people as far as I've understood.

Same looping circle in the text field, and nothing being loaded. Can't report issue, can't share articles, can't create a new admin or editor for the page.

Facebook isn't answering and we are practically ****ed.

As far as I've gathered, it's either a conflict of roles attribution, or you logged in with an email and password not associated to a user profile, but only to the business page. It could be something else, but NOBODY is ******* doing anything.

It's Summer, and my business is practically dead due to this.

I'm logged in with an email and password not associated to a personal profile and then followed FB guide created a personal profile, logged in back to our business page to add my personal profile as an admin but failed.

If someone has answer to this problem , please post here. We really need your help!

I've found a solution.
It's dumb but it works.

Seemingly a Smartphone's facebook app is able to bypass the stupid Facebook no-profile-admin block.

Therefore, admins should log with their credentials onto a smartphone's facebook app, and add a new admin, this time around with an associated profile.

Logging through the PC won't let you do anything, but the app allows you to bypass the block.
I wasted 10 days before understanding that I also should REINSTALL THE DAMN APP, but it worked.

You can remove all History of your browser and all Cache And Cookies also.
and you remove all history from Your microsoft internet browser than login facebook and enjoy

It doesn't help.

I was able to briefly talk to someone from Facebook over the phone - through an intermediary company (so I have no direct contact).

They said I probably removed myself as ADMIN and therefore, I am only able to log in and out, but the ADMIN function is dead.

They promised to solve the problem. After 10 days, it is still the same. And they closed the case (I received this message into my account).

So, basically the issue is: I think I removed myself as ADMIN. I am only there with my personal account as EDITOR. And the EDITOR cannot set any ADMIN.

Does anyone know a workaround for setting and ADMIN?

It seems you have tried everything. Even contacted facebook and didn't get reply. Take a chance. Try to deactivate your account and while deactivating it asks the reason. Select other -> mention your problem then deactivate. See if you get some reply.

You can always come back (re-activate) to facebook by logging in. Facebook doesn't delete your account.

The problem is, I have advertised this account and spent a sizeable amount of money on acquiring fans, boosting posts. I just can't leave it there!

As I have written above: it seems, I have accidentally removed myself as ADMIN and I cannot put it back. I can log in and out with the admin's email and password (I am the ADMIN, of course), but I can't do anything except looking around. LOL

Tragicomedy. And there goes a lot of money...

I had occasional issues with facebook from time to time, I believe the issue is with them. I just leave it at that for a while and sometimes it just gets resolved on it's own.

In the Help Center, click on "Timeline"
Scroll down to "Bugs & Unknown Issues"
At the bottom of that page, there is a statement that says: "If the issue you're experiencing isn't listed above, please 'tell us more' <--Click on the "tell us more"
A screen says, Report an issue with timeline, click "other" Add your subject and/or details then click send.
This is only how I reported it to Facebook so they know there is a problem

I too faced this issue.But it was random. Sometimes I was able to handle my account as admin, but sometimes everything got denied. Deleting cookies etc didn't work for me.
