Getting Likes for a Facebook Page w/o Promoted Posts or Likes from Friends?

Create Awesome Content
This is the first and foremost thing you should think about. Awesome and compelling content that talks directly to your customers, fans, and audience is the best thing you can do. But it does require a strategy. I think the best way to have something to share is to blog, take photos, and create an online persona. When you have great content on your website and other online sites, it's easier to have something of VALUE to share.

Attach your Fan Page to Your Profile
You do this by adding your fan page as your "employer" in your about section

Invite Your Friends To Like Your Fan Page
Assuming your friends are potential prospects or people you WANT to like your fan page! .

Share your posts from your fan page to your profile
The reach is not that great but there are still people who will see it and people who snoop on your wall

The Way You "Reply" to Comment With Your Fans
This is true for both a fan page and profile. When you're engaging and commenting on your posts, comment as a new comment and not just reply.When you reply to someone's comment, fb does not recognize that as a new comment and therefore it will not have any impact on your post.However, if you comment as a new comment (and maybe just tag the person you're wanting to respond to) then fb considers that an actual comment, therefore increasing the weight of the post and will put it out in the newsfeed more.

Use Facebook Live!
Use Facebook Live (live video feature). Facebook wants to be the big dog when it comes to live video and therefore, the people who use it, they will put it in the newsfeed of more people (whether on a fan page or profile).In the beginning, you will absolutely get more reach going live from your profile but you can use one of the hacks I'm about to mention to help get you some more exposure.

Hold Out The Carrot
This has to do with using Facebook Live .... But you can do this with a regular post.Say you have 5 tips on a specific topic, you can go live from your profile first giving 2 tips and then let them know you'll be going live on your fan page to give 3 more tips.*Just tag your fan page so it's easier for people to get there.

Schedule It!
If you're using Facebook Live, set up a video schedule (whether you plan to go live 2 times a week or 5 times a week) and think about going live on your profile one day and then letting your audience know the next live, you'll be going live on your fan page.This is going to draw some more exposure over to your fan page. Then, just switch it up.If you go live 3 times a week, go live from your profile once or twice and then do one from your fan page so you can slowly begin to attract more people over to it.**You can also tag your fan page by using the @ symbol and then typing the name of your fan page in there.

Encouraging Likes & Shares
In Your Videos: If you ever watch my live's, I will tell people to share it out, I'll ask them questions, etc. to increase the weight of my videos so that facebook will expose it more.Regular Posts: You can also do a regular post and say something like "hey, mention someone you know below who could benefit" or "hey, mention a friend below who loves (something on your topic) but get creative with this.HUGE TIP: But don't ask for likes or shares, this could actually hurt you. If you've done a good job building a relationship with your fans you will see that this will be easy to achieve.

Put the Facebook Like Box on your blog
Having it right there in the sidebar is a great way to get more fans.

Embed Your Posts in your blog
I do this with my Facebook Lives. It's a great way for your blog readers to jump into the conversation too!

Put the link to your Fan Page in your Emails
Putting a call-to action and a link to your fan page in the P.S. section is great!

Periodically cross-promote amongst other social media channels
I have an automatic post to be tweeted saying, "hey, are you on Facebook? Let's connect there!"

Share posts from your Fan Page into FB groups with a call-to-action to LIKE your fan page.
Whether it's an image, a video or blog post. Just remember to keep the content SHORT and in the top half of the fold.

Create Fan Page Relationships
There are a few ways to go about this..
One way is to share other fan page content.
Because everyone is sharing the content of huge publications and brands, you might want to think about targeting middle sized fan pages instead as they will notice it more. When you give love to other Fan pages, they will likely return the favor and share your content.

You can also tag other fan pages within your posts. The other Fan page will see your tag and hopefully be happy.In order to build a successful relationship you have to think about this. You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours. It's a two way street!

Leave Comments on Blog Posts "as your fan page"
This is a really cool feature. Go to Google and do a search for a blog post in your niche.

Follow with a "Facebook Likes Plugin" in the search bar.
What that will do, is pull blog posts that is using the Facebook Likes plugin.... And you can leave a comment on that blog post via your fan page!

For instance, let's say you want to find blog posts that have the Facebook Like plugin and my product is a meal replacement shake.

Go to Google and type, "meal replacement shake", "facebook likes plugin"

That will pull a lot of posts that will allow you to leave a comment AS YOUR FAN PAGE!
Tag Your Friends on a post on your fan page!
