How can I add a clickable affiliate link into a Youtube video?

Hello everybody, Is it possible to add clickable link ( Affiliate link ) into Youtube video ? If yes, can anybody give me the video/video links ? Is there any restriction from Youtube side ? Can I add my affiliate link in "Associated website" ( Channel--> Advance section in Youtube channel ) ?

  • Right, you can do this by "Associated website" but
    you have to confirm the site by adding a file to your
    root directory.

    Normally there is no way to do that with an affiliate
    site unless you own it. But you can set up redirects
    to you affiliate offers.

    So at the end it's the same.
  • As DanielBlue mentioned ... you need to confirm the site. Once you've done ... install 'pretty link' plugin & create new links for your aff offers. You can start using those links ...

  • I do not think Youtube will allow you to have a affiliate link in the associated website section but here's what you can do purchase a domain and forward it to your offer
    Now you wont have any problem.
