Facebook Ads, what analytics should I trust?
Hello. I'm new here, so I'll give a very short introduction. I'm a recent marketing graduate, trying to get into eCommerce by selling niche t-shirts.
I'm using promoted post ads on Facebook to drive traffic to my WP website. The link to my website is a bitly link that is in the post (not a call to action button). I also have products tagged in the photos. The problem is, I'm getting discrepancies between my Facebook link clicks, my bitly clicks, and my WP traffic analytics on the specific pages the ads are linked to. (I shouldn't be getting any traffic from other sources than Facebook, because my website is fairly new and I haven't promoted it anywhere but with Facebook ads). I realize that some discrepancies are normal, but when Facebook says I have 1 click, bitly says I have 13, and WP says I have 17, which once should I trust, and how do I decide which ads I should keep?
