Hi all,

I am struggling with Pinterest, and would appreciate your help!

We used addthis social bookmarks to share our posts. Then we share onto our Pinterest account. Suddenly in my facebook there is a big red pinterest icon and I cannot get it out!

Can anyone help with this please?

Thanks a lot!

    My tips for you:
Follow relevant people and unload more unique pin. Also you should comment to interact with popular people. It has to work. Thank you

    What industry are you in?

I'm in B2B and it has not been worthwhile to me. Now focusing on other channels instead.

If you're selling, say, physical products for women... I'd expect far more traction.

If you're about enterprise software, it will be a struggle for sure.

    There is another way.
Don't work hard. Work smart for success.
Contact the board owners with thousands of followers. They will publish your posts in exchange of some small amounts.
If they publish, you will get lots of traffic.

    Simply.... DON'T USE IT!

Go to Facebook -- Apps and disable it.

THAN use something like IFTT to share automatically in Pinterest and some other posts.

Don't forget to add a pop up for lead generation purpose.

Do you know you can easily do it with popupmonkey? or LeadBox of Leadpages?

Mark, I find I am lost without Pinterest because it has the best array of photos that a person can use in their Articles for FREE, and for us who have NO MONEY to spend on Advertisements that entice the viewer to the content. It is priceless. I find I can go there and for an hour do some research in say Ghosts/ Spirits, and find after an hour about 400 photos other people have uploaded to Pinterest and then left click on that picture, in the next window I can right click at the top of the list of where I want to view the picture. Then in the next screen window I can go to " Save this Picture " to my computer, and va La' I'm done in capturing free of charge pictures I can upload to my Content Article the photo that will help sell it to the public.

The pictures on pinterest are not necessarily 'free to use' - many are copyrighted and there has been quite a fuss about placing images on pinterest and whether THAT violates copyright or not. Taking them FROM pinterest for use on your own sites/articles is not a good idea.

For now, putting images ON pinterest seems to be acceptable practice - but taking those images and using them can leave you open to charge of copyright violations.

Is there any Govt Ban notice ?

Work like human being, don't act like robot / automation tool. Start interacting, following, commenting or and so on.

If you still face this issue, Install some VPN on your computer and try sharing an image again, that should definitely work.

True this a great place to work on but we are not following right way. Please follow below simple tricks:

Make new pin and upload regulatory instead of share people pin.
Find the most engage pin by people and participate on them by commenting.

Keep doing this for 6 month and see the result. Thanks

    Hi Matt,
What type of product/service are you promoting via Pinterest?
The audience on Pinterest is primarily female (although male audience is growing on there) and around 50% of users are located in the US.
Both quality and quantity is needed on here (up to 20 or 30 pins a day!). Being a visual platform, be sure you're posting pins that are visually appealing and eye catching.
Be sure your descriptions are keyword rich - this is not a platform for using hashtags!
Are you using a business account? As you will require this to see analytics. If you haven't applied for "rich pins" it can be a good idea to do so to help get your pins in front of more people.
Don't worry too much about the number of followers you have on this platform, the numbers that matter are those coming to your website.
Another tip is to create 'covers' for your boards - it really helps make it 'pop' and stand out from the crowd.
Group boards are a great way to get yourself noticed, especially when new and starting out, you can leverage other people's audience in this way :-)
