Is it necessary to do a likes campaign to be successful on Facebook?

I'm learning fb ads and I want to know is it necessary to do a likes campaign to be successful ? Also when I create an ad for lead gen can it be for people that are not my fans and still generate leads without being known in the niche ?

    1. Yes - social proof drives engagement.

    You create an ad compaign for PPE first, if that's your goal.

    2. Of course. I think it has an option to choose to exclude people who are your fans.

    It's not necessary to run a like campaign: they will come naturally if you promote a post and after making some bucks you may think of a like campaign.

    FIRST think of LEAD GENERATION: do a campaign targeting the audience of a public figure in your niche, you can easily find in facebook insight.

    Build in your brain a figure of what your potential customer may look like: so you can better target it.

    Then build a decent list of at least 500 subscribers and then... UPLOAD IT on Facebook!
    So you can create a LOOKALIKE PUBLIC of the poeple in your list, targeting people who look similar to the ones you already have, using the powerful Facebook algorithm!
