Refining Interests on Facebook Ads

Hi all,

I'm trying to learn more about targeting the right interests for Facebook ads and was hoping people can point me to some resources and guidance on how to do this. Specifically, I'm looking at where the interest is so broad and I want to narrow the right audience.

For example, let's say I create an ad for a Pizza restaurant. The Interest 'Pizza' has over 200M people. If I wanted to refine that audience further, what would be a good strategy? I could say Pizza and Food for example, but are there any smarter strategies for finding people who would likely buy pizza?

Thanks

Refine to people who party, watch football and movies, etc. This could easily be the same people who would order pizza.

Determine your target audience. For pizza, it could be college students, bachelors etc. Similarly, for baby products the audience wold be different. Target those grouos on facebook and promote your products.
    Hope it helps.

On Facebook, you can target an audience that has already shown interest in your product category. This is an interest-based targeting, although it is often confused with the targeting of "likes." For example, if you have an online store for the sale of computer accessories, choose the "Technology - Computers" field and all the spare parts that you sell (hard disks, monitors, processors, etc.)

The menu offers thousands of targeting interests - from business to fitness - that are tailored to your ad campaign.
