Facebook Ad - Is this normal cost for a Lead Ad

Hi,

I'm running a Facebook Lead Ads campaign. It is for a free eBook about marketing, in which users enter their email & name to get the free book.

So far I've had 3 leads at a cost of $2.50 per lead. It's only had 125 impressions, and that equates to ~$60 per 1000 impressions.

Is that normal for Facebook Lead ads? The suggested bid from facebook if I try a manual bid is actual $28.40, so I suspect this is very high. Should I consider revising my ad?

I've run a few Facebook ad campaigns, and usually had around $1 per click, and around $10 per 1000 impressions.

Thanks,
Tom

I would prefer Google Adwords instead of Facebook Ads, had some bad experience using facebook ads, their targeting platform is not good and when checked with google analytics, seems they are not delivering a good leads.

Hi, the lowest manual bid should be $0.10 per click.

To me, $2.5 for exchange an email address is a lot and those maybe just interested to get your freebie.

Yes, I feel it is a lot also. Does anyone have any bright ideas on what I can do to reduce the cost?

I think you should try google adwords instead of facebook ads. Because with google you can get more benefits and people. And this is more comfortable
