What are the best social media scheduling tools (like Hootsuite)?

Hey everyone...

I used Hootsuite a couple years ago. Now I'm gonna dive back into the social media world and want some tips on what's the current state of the art. What are you all using?

Hootsuite is probably the most advanced, and Buffer is good too - easier to use, just has less features.

Are there any limitations on Instagram? I remember having issues with that a couple years ago when first looking at social media automation, it seemed like they wouldn't let you do any tricks.

Check out knackmap. Josh White is the founder and he lurks here from time to time.

It's a solid content calendar system with a discovery section. If you start crowdsourcing/outsourcing - you can setup tiers of people contributing to the calendar and you just approve them to post.

HootSuite and Buffer are great too as Michael mentioned.

With social media, what's your end goal deeper than just success? Brand Awareness, Traffic, Conversions, engagement, influence, authority.... what are you seeking primarily and what goals are supplementing?

I suppose ultimately the goal is to drive sales. We have articles about pegging that we share and getting them in front of more people would be ideal. And announcements about new products and product discounts too.

Buffer is a smart and easy way to schedule content across social media. Think of Buffer like a virtual queue you can use to fill with content and then stagger posting times throughout the day. This lets you keep to a consistent social media schedule all week long without worrying about micro-managing the delivery times. The Bufferapp also provides analytics about the engagement and reach of your posts.
