Which Facebook ad should I create?

Hi there,

I wanted to get a bit of advice...

I run a marketing company and want to create a Facebook ad offering some free short consultations.

I am unsure whether the best ad for this would be either to make a lead gen ad or an in-stream ad?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

    Hi Elena,

What type of consultation do you suggest. Usually the lead gen ad in Facebook is perfect for this type of campaign but it always depends on the content too.

  • I think Reach ad can play important role for you. The main objective of reach ad is Show your ad to the maximum number of people.
    Target you audience carefully.
First think, who want you service then display your ad in front of them then you can get better ROI.
Audience target is the main part of Facebook marketing. Just target the right audience and get good results.

Go for engagement, the higher engagement on your ad is, the more people will see it in their feeds, therefore, you'll get more clicks to your offer.

In my opinion, the most efficient and cost-effective approach to fulfill your goal would be to find or create a highly engaging video about your service and run an FB ad for views. Once you received about 500 - 1000 10 sec views, I'd retarget those viewers with an offer to your consulting service.

Additionally, you can create a lookalike audience based on your 10 sec viewers and run ads to them... that way you don't have to waste a lot of money testing ads to find the right audience. If your video is engaging... FB will do all the heavy lifting for you to help find your target audience at a very attractive cost per view.

    Good luck!

As for me, I will create one for both types of ads. More effort in marketing can further your reach. Of course, it's still best to keep in mind that "engaging content" is key to reach such goal.

It depends on your goal in each period of time. if you are not sure about your goal, it makes no sense to choose the type of ads you want to rrun.

I would go building a list of subscribers with a news feed ad. I would not use Facebook lead campaigns. I think you are better of, using your own landing page. A person you may want to check as far as producing results for clients is Ben Malol.
