Hi Folks Good Morning, This is Durga. I am Promoting meidical Equipments in UAE. I am creating ad words campaign for facebook. Whom i want to target. Can you suggest me. Any marketing ideas from your side.

    You can use hashtags that have been effective under huge famous hospitals in UAE and also target medical students.

    I recommend creating a Facebook page and add a photo of your equipment for each post. Create an "engagement ad" for one of your post. Start with $5 to $10 a day and see how much engagement you get from the Facebook market.

    Be sure to narrow your target down to the geographical area that you are selling to. Just follow Facebook ad instructions when creating the ad.

    I don't recommend FB advertising at this time. Their network is full of fraud. I have tried it several times with the same results. Lots of clicks that don't show up on website analytics and no leads or sales. Checkout this support thread on FB. https://www.facebook.com/business/he...53880424557933

      Agreed. Facebook is going to crap when it comes to their advertising and they are deliberately cheating advertisers

    If this is the case then if you want to gain traffic from Facebook as it has such a large user base is to create a Fan page and then join groups related to the medical equipment you are promoting.


    It is a more time consuming process but could still be successful.

    First find out your targeted area and then select the audience. Creating FB page will be a great idea to expand your service. This will be the best way to reach to your targeted audience at the first stage. Put all your details including some photos and videos if possible. Give exact price for your products and explain proper description of it so that your future clients can understand the use or share user manual of those. If you have good response then you can go for paid version of FB add by setting up your details and also can select the time period based on your budget for advertisement. Besides if you have your own website then try to increase SEO so that it can come to the fist page when people will search for the products you are selling.

      Actually this is horrible advise. FB is a "pay to play" platform now. Only 2% of your FB page Likes/Followers will see your posts and FB recently announced that will go even lower. And again, if you pay for FB ads you will get burned....mostly bots are delivering the clicks and FB has done nothing to thwart them. Why would they? Their valuation is partly driven by the perception of having a great marketplace for advertising.

        This was not advice actually. I shared what I saw from others. Besides its natural not all advice or comments will be 100% perfect. Different people have different views. In here we are sharing what we know and after discussion we will select the best one. So If you share something which you think is not good then its also better for the person who shared it so that he or she can upgrade him or herself for better result.

    I consider AdWords a better money investment than Facebook. When you sepnd money in Adwords then you check in Google analutics which keyword perform well and you keep them active while you pause keywords that dont perform well. In time, you improov your campaign and therefore you get a better result with each dollar your spend.
    In Facebook you get the advantage of targeting specific interests, ages, towns and has a powerfull remarketing ads system. You can also make a higly targeted ads to users by their email!! The trick with Facebook ads is to A/B test: make variations to ads and target different 'Interests' and pause the ads will the less results your need.
