Hi there, i have recently started a online website, and i am looking to use social media to help leverage traffic to it. The website does fall under the restricted category therefore i know i am limited to what i can post, and FB being a no go. just wanted to connect with someone who may be able to point me in the right direction as to how i can go about efficiently marketing my website thanks!

      Thank you for your reply!

So i have SEO setup with my web developer who does also do blogs for us, i just visited phlanx and they didnt appear to have anything related to marijuana, which is my topic, do you have any suggestions for influencers of that particular market?

What sort of telegram groups do you suggest?

and what are facebook engagement groups, would those be off limits as my particular topic is completely restricted on fb that there would be no group for it?

      Thank you again !

Is there no kind of related niche that is not restricted that you can use as a middle ground to promote on social media and link from that content to your main content?

It is a marijuana based website, i do not believe there are any middle ground niches, unless you have any you know of personally?

      Thanks!

If your site is about weed, IG and Twitter would be best. There are a ton of quality influencers in the marijuana niche on IG especially

You can use Facebook. Set up a Fanpage, you can then use that to promote a webinar, make sure they opt-in to get access, then on the webinar you can promote your site, just make sure you are actually giving away some value on your webinar. Get the book "Expert Secrets" by Russell Brunson

    Hi Stevan,

Gain traction on social by promoting other folks in the mari niche.

Give freely, promote other people in that niche on social media, and in time, friendships form and they promote you, expanding your reach.

Social networks are one of the most powerful tools in internet marketing. It is very important to be active on social accounts. If you're just starting your business I suggest you publish your posts 3-5 times a day, to be as visible as possible. It would also be good to use images and hashtags. Set the exact time for each post, and post every day at the same time.

I have been using influencer marketing to grow my brand/business for quite some time now and I can personally say that it really does bring in results. After the change in FB and IG's algorithm things didn't work as well as it was before.

You should run a few test on a few sites so that you can narrow down your audience.

Do you have a blog ? If not I think it would be a benefit to your business to have one to draw in some traffic from the search engines.

Twitter is a great choice for this type of website. It's important to understand it's a long-term marketing play, when done correctly. Some will look like they are growing fast, but all they did was purchase junk follows and retweets.

When building twitter properly, you can really gain traction with a highly targeted group of follows, if the right strategies are used.

Personally, I would use a blog with relevant posts (maybe one a week or every other week) and mix in promotions, along with industry news, articles and posts from influencers.

If you do it right on Twitter, you can get influencers to share your stuff, but it takes time to get noticed.

    Hope this helps!
