I am just starting out with some Facebook advertising for a new Facebook group. Should I use software to manage my ads? If so which software should I use?

My advice would be to keep things small right off the bat and manage everything yourself. Spend some time getting fully acquainted with all the functionally/tools/members area etc first...

Since you are starting out, do it yourself so you get a first hand experience.

You should definitely manage the ads yourself... that way you can educate yourself on how everything works. FB Marketing will suck your budget up dry without an effective marketing strategy going in. The only automation you should be doing is adding content to your Fan Page(s).

    Good Luck!

Thanks @deejaaymark I planned on a Facebook group rather than a fan page so that users create their own content, rather than me constantly publishing content. Are there other effective ways to attract users to the group without ads that I should try?

Don't use any software yet, it is better that you handle things like that especially you're just new in Facebook Ads.

Since you are just starting out with Facebook Ads, I would recommend that you manage the ads yourself. That way you can learn everything you need to know about Facebook Ads. It is important to know exactly what you are looking at so you don't lose any money. Once you know what you are doing, you can move onto a Facebook Ads software.

Manage your ads yourself. If you had to manage a lot of campaigns at the same time, then a software may help out. At this point, you may want to see what works for you. Doing things manually seems to be the best way to have control and analyze results.

Just use Facebook ads manager it does everything if not more than any third party software.

Join some Facebook groups like Facebook Ad Buyers, there are plenty of people with knowledge and experience who will help you free of charge.

    Hi HamishW ...!
Since you are starting your first Facebook advertising, you should keep experiencing things in it. Dont go extremely at the beginning itself. Try to use the Facebook ads and keep practicing. Once you have been trained then you can go for the software. And if you are planning to go for that then you should research about it more.
