What's the best way to learn facebook advertising?

I've recently read a book on facebook advertising and it's not doing it for me. I want to see how to do it, every single step - so I don't miss anything.

Are there any good facebook advertising courses out there that show you step by step over the shoulder how to do it?

    If you're new to FB Ads it can be a little intimidating. However, the key to a successful FB Ad is to come up with a strategic and cost-effective marketing plan.

    Unfortunately, it's not a simple process... which is why many marketers lose money and call it quits after a few failed attempts.

    Now... while a video series of over-the-shoulder training may be a good place to start. There are a few important things you'd want to be mindful of when seeking out some training.

    The one element of FB marketing - where most marketers get wrong is being unaware that the initial ad should be devised to capture data only. And while most marketers give up after their initial ad... the successful ones leverage the data to construct their second and most relevant ad for capturing leads.

    The second ad is where you're likely to see conversions... keep in mind however that without a high converting funnel you're less likely to make money. Which is why your first ad should be done with video. It's a lot cheaper than clicks and more compelling than images.

    That my friend is only the beginning... but in my opinion is often overlooked and should be a significant part of any training you acquire.

    Good luck!

      What is the learning curve of your 3 tiers course? I have a very good funnel but can't get any traction on my FB ads so I want to learn how to do better on my ads.

        The learning curve is simple:
        1. Create your first ad with a compelling video with the objective for views (it's the quickest and cheapest way to capture data).
        2. Use the data from your first ad to manufacture your second ad. For example, you can create a custom audience based on everyone that has seen at least 75% of your video and create an ad to get them into your funnel (Retargeting).
        3. Finally, create a look-a-like audience from everyone that has bought from you or met your end goal and orchestrate an ad with the conversions objective.

        Keep in mind... this is only an overview and that there are a lot more details involved, which includes a high converting funnel and setting up your FB pixels.

        Thx!

    I stopped using Facebook Ads for a quarter now and I am still going good. I think the point here is believing in what it could do first. Do you actually think it is helpful? This would help you have the mindset and exert effort in learning it on your own. We can say a lot of things about it, but experience is the best teacher.

      You can't learn the basics without the "experience" a daily budget of 5 dollars for 7 days will teach you a lot, and give you experience...

    You got to spend money on the eggs for that omelet you want to make, and guess what you are going to break a few before you get to taste the way you want it to taste...

    All seriousness you just have to open a FB business account and pull out your wallet...

    I am not saying to not get training, but you are only going to learn it by doing it...

    There are lot of sources that being posted but what you have to ask yourself is if Facebook is the right answer for you

    I mean that you have to be strategic regarding your marketing

    The most important aspect is not but it kind of traffic the source of traffic but the overall strategy that is behind that

    Ask yourself where where are your prospects come from and ask yourself after you captured there email address what you going to do after

    Don't think too much about the mechanics of Facebook, it's not as much about "How it works" more than it is about good targeting and fantastic copywriting skills.

    Facebook ads is like solving an easy puzzle. Put money into the first 2 campaigns at $5/day, watch your analytics - you don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure these metrics out - if people are interacting high but clicking low, that means you need to highlight your CTA more. If people are clicking your ad and not converting, you need a better landing page. If your ad isn't being shown, then Facebook ranked your ad low on the relevancy score.

    AD--> Landing Page --->Opt-in
    \------> Another different ad----> Landing Page ---> Opt-in
    \------Retargeting ad ----->Landing Page ----> Opt-in

    Bing, bang, boom, you're done! I'd advise learning copywriting skills first!

    If you are looking for a free resource, then Frank's channel is more than enough: https://www.youtube.com/user/MiniVanSteve you should also join his group in FB, lots of valuable info and a very helpful community. But of course, you will learn the most from taking action, failing and succeeding.

  • Getting a course that breaks down Facebook ads is not a bad idea.

    It's easier than filtering through a bunch of videos and blogs. However, a course that guarantees you success is incorrect.

    Once you learn the basics you can apply those basics and start testing your ads.

    Not everyone want to search for knowledge. That's why they make courses.
