Single or Multiple Social Accounts ?

Is it best for each niche to have their own social accounts like FB, Twitter etc - multiple accounts, are they allowed?

I gather Facebook allows you to create "Pages" - is there any connection between pages so visitors can see other business pages/niches?

Can you set up a different Twitter account or do you set up another page similar to FB?

Thank you!

You should have a page on every social media account. No matter what your niche is you should have a page about your product/website.
It would help you to create your audience and if your business is appealing then people would definitely like to do business with you. You can promote your business there and increase daily visitors. You can create backlinks that would ultimately improve your ranking. I can go on and on about the advantages of having a page on social media sites. So i highly suggest that you create a page right away.

I think it's a good idea to maintain a presence on several social media platforms.

But a downside to having multiple accounts is that it can be very easy to neglect some of them in favor of your "main" accounts. A lot of businesses have profiles on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, etc. but end up focusing more on their Facebook.

Of course, that can be remedied by getting someone to concentrate only on social media marketing/management. Whether you'll outsource or hire someone in-house is up to you.

According to me having separate social media for each and every niche is a best idea. Because you can maintain and track your/viewers activity very easily. You can also promote your niche easily.

It's a must to have your brand across as many sites as possible, but you can use third party services for having these properly built for you. https://www.warriorforum.com/other-w...-profiles.html

Each niche should have its own social media accounts to stay aligned ML. Avoids confusing followers who are looking for specialists, not generalists.

Per Ghostbusters...."don't cross the streams. It would be bad."

Multiple accounts but carefully. Use VPN for more security. And I account or One page for all of them sharing and commenting. That's how it works.

I have seen many of twitter user they connected with each other and sharing same thing for marketing. You can do that too. It's not kinda spamming.

Yes, you can set up different accounts but you need to be very careful with the contents you are posting. As it is can be spammed. So, be true with your posts and contents and you can use different social accounts and pages.

It's definitely better to have separate accounts for each niche. No one likes to see posts that are irrelevant to them so mixing up niches can be risky and confuse your audience. Managing multiple accounts on Facebook and Instagram is easy as you don't need to log out to switch between profiles. It's also easy to run ads and choose which fan page represents which campaign.

If you're a single brand and not a marketing agency in charge of managing multiple clients, there are a few reasons for and against starting new accounts.

    Pros
Segmented audiences: Using different accounts allows you to talk to various audiences. No more balancing your posts to make sure you're reaching everyone. This is helpful especially for businesses that serve both businesses and consumers.
Location-specific news: For multi-location businesses, having individual pages may help you serve the unique needs of each geo you're targeting.
Topic-specific focuses: Some brands have different topics that they take on. For example, BuzzFeed has one umbrella account and then also has other accounts like BuzzFeed Weddings, BuzzFeed Video and BuzzFeed Animals. While all of the specializations can feed into the parent account's posts, the audience has some choice in which topic they want to follow.

    Cons
Fan confusion: With multiple accounts come some confusion in your audience. Do they follow all of the accounts or just the ones they care about? You run the risk of dividing up the people you want to reach.
More work: Having more accounts means more work for social media managers. If you don't have the time or money to spend on more work, consider a different approach.
Difficult to manage branding: If you're using multiple accounts for various departments, then it might become more difficult to keep branding consistent. This is where a documented brand and social strategy comes in handy.

  • A general answer to this is yes. The more platforms you are on the more potential traffic you can get.

However, if you are just starting out and don't have enough time to manage each account, I would start with one, FB or IG. Once you figure out how to manage one account and have the time to expand to another than go ahead.

You can also create an account on multiple platforms at first, but I would not suggest running them all at the same time without experience.
