How to transition from hobby Instagram account to my new business account?

I spent several months doing market research for a small marketing business in the food industry. Along the way I posted a good bit on Instagram to explore what interested people. I made different types of posts, connected with other enthusiasts and established a small base of followers.

I'm now close to launching a website and social media presence with a consistent branding and will stop using the Instagram 'hobby' account. I'm interested in tips/suggestions on how to encourage my existing followers to follow my new business account....?

    Hey what you can do is if its in the same niche you can go to people with same following and tell them you will promote there account to your following for an exchange of him promoting you new site to his followers so you can do this with like 20 people and thats how i would do it!

    It's very simple. Tell your personal followers that you just started a new business by post and change your name to your business name.
