Can I add second Ad Account to my FB business manager if my 1st Ad Account has been disabled?

Hi!

This morning I was "happily" greeted with a default Facebook message that my Ad Account has been disabled due to advertising policy violation. Let me tell that I have if for over than 10 years and haven't had problem with it in the past, but sometimes sh*t happens. I was advertising a dating advice blog, which probably they perceived as a dating website and perhaps it was what caused it to get disabled.

So anyway... no point to complain about it. My question is very straight forward. When I go to my "Facebook Business Manager > Settings > Ad Accounts" , there it gives me the option to create a new one Ad account.

So do you think if I do it, the new one will interfere with the one that got flagged and disabled? Do you think they can disable the second one even without running ads if I create it in the same Business manager as the first one was? And of course I don't plan to do it right away but way for a while (a month maybe) and from another IP location and another device most likely.

If anybody has experienced such a problem, I'll be glad to share what is the best to do in this situation.

Cheers!

Yes, you can create a new one even if your Personal ad account associated with the BM is disabled (don't forget the option to ask them to reinstate the access to it, worth the try).

If your BM isn't disabled then you can create as many ad accounts (based on the number limit you have, probably 5 or 6).

PS: Usually Fb will tell you why the account was closed, try to see if there is something you can do to correct the issue.

    Good luck!

Actually it was not my personal Ad account but one of the ad account within the facebook business. And yes - I already contacted them with an appeal, but they were unconditional. (please consider that decision final)

BM is not disabled itself, just the ad account within it. I know I can create a new one, I see the option available in the manager, but I'm concerned that they could find out when I do it and relate it to the previous disabled account thus blocking that one too even without running any suspicious ad or any ads at all. Actually I don't know what is their exact procedure in that regards.

We they din't tell me exact reasons - just that it violates advertising policy. I can assume it was due to I was promoting a dating advice type of blog. So... I wouldn't attempt to advertise that exact product again.

      Thanks for your time.

    Hi,

As long as you still have a business manager account, you will still beable to create a new ad account.

My only advice to you would be to be squeaky clean with your ads. Facebook is clamping down on people who violate the ad rules so focus on being positive with your ads and beacreful when promoting your dating blog because it is very tricky to promote dating websites with Facebook Ads.

Well I don't plan promoting that exact blog anymore on facebook. It is just quite not worth the risk.

But what do you exactly mean by "be squeaky clean with your ads". Do you mean to clean (delete) my previous ads or just be extra careful with my future ones.
