  • Have you tried any methods so far? do you have any experience with Affiliate marketing or setting up your own websites POD etc?

  • I am a strong believer in owning your traffic. That would probably be better worded as owning your web property where you can capture your traffic.

Because of this belief, I suggest building out a website/blog in your niche. This does require you to produce content that is valuable to your audience. You can then create enticing images that say or suggest something of interest to them, which takes them to a blog post on the subject.

You can talk about products, services, equipment and the like. Help people find and understand what they need. You monetize your blog by presenting, suggesting, or otherwise reviewing products and services for affiliate commissions.

This is not an overnight get-rich quick method, but you will be happy you did it.

  • You can go for affiliate marketing which can benefit your product.

    • I'd say, this

You can add a link to the pins. Make sure that it's not a raw affiliate link, but a link to a bridge page between pinterest and an offer you'd like to promote.

Even though you do have access to that traffic, in case anything ever happens to your account, it's good to have an email capture page or some other way of capturing that traffic for yourself.

      Cheers

  • You can link to your site if you want to sell your own products or link to other sites if you are selling other people's products.

    • linking your site while posting your picture is a great idea as anyone can visit and purchase easily.
  • Hi Lublu,

Create quality Pins, build friendships by Pinning other member's quality Pins to your board, then drive traffic to your self-hosted blog. Money is made in creating and connecting on Pinterest then driving folks to your blog, your owned real estate where you set the rules and brand yourself however you want to brand yourself.

    • thank. I'm doing it all right. niche - tattoos. I have banners with different products for tattoo services or something similar. not a single deal yet.
    • Now my account (for education niche like http://easyessayonline.com ) has 1.7 million views per month and the second pt acc (survival niche) have 450K.
Maybe you can help me convert this audience? I'm probably not doing it right, because I'm leading people directly to partner sites (ClickBank redirect), so there are no commissions?

  • Impressions and visitors to the site are completely different things. There are few visits to the site, but my pins are only viewed in pinterest

  • There are influencer FaceBook groups where you could look for suitable brands to work with, and reply to brands looking for influencers . . . lots on fashion there.

There are influencer marketing platforms which allow you to find suitable brands. Try those.

You could work with suitable eComm store owners . . . there are FB Groups of those, and/or find them here (JV forum is one option), or create your own eComm store.

  • In this case, Pinterest got a new system called buyable pins, so by this way user has to have the business account in Pinterest. So, in the way, Pinterest can be monetized.
    • [ 1 ] Thanks
  • To monetize your Pinterest following you can do two things.

one thing you can simply directly send the traffic from Pinterest to the affiliate products which I think is really not a good idea because you will not really get that much good conversion.

second way is create a blog or a YouTube channel and whenever you are going to post any content on the Pinterest simply link that content to your blog or YouTube channel and there you can promote anything you want because you are providing value so you are conversions will be increasing.

and you do not need to create any product you can simply start providing other people's products as an affiliate.

and one thing I recommend you start building an email list do not just leave them as being pinterest followers whenever you are going to send them anywhere try capturing their emails by giving them something for free.

  • Well, Pinterest is a good choice for those who are in the E-commerce business. Creating beautiful images and provide useful information to the user will surely get enough clicks. Infographics work great for the Pinterest. You can connect your Website with your Pinterest Account to get better insight.

  • If I were you I will go with POD and adsense niche sites.
Since I had a website in fashion niche and with adsense + pinterest I was able to bring in easy $20+ per day with 2k traffic per day.

    • Nothing from this post makes any sense, i doubt you even know how to use pinterest
  • The more reposts the picture received, the more pinterest users will see it and click on it. Now let's talk about the element of the Pinterest traffic formula. As you know Pinterest allows you to add links to pictures, and this is great. When a user clicks on the picture, Pinterest redirects them to the appropriate link. Even one popular picture can bring you endless traffic.
  • Monetizing your pinterest account is not much hard, you just gotta target those keywords which has more than 1,000 volume. Just spending few dollars only on multiple post can help you can grow.
  • You can link your site if you want to sell your products.
  • That's awesome! Most of the leg work has been done and you're ready to monetize your following.

There are many ways to do this. As someone mentioned POD products (Pin > Store) would be a great avenue. If you're not seeing many click-throughs to your site try adding a call to action to your pins.

You could also work with brands who are looking for exposure and charge them either a flat fee or a performance based kinda deal.

Worst case scenario you can consider selling the profile.

  • There are 5 steps for you to follow if you want to monetize Pinterest:
1: Ensure You Have a Pinterest Business Account,
    2: Optimize Your Pinterest Presence,
    3: Get Integrated,
4: Make Sure You Accept the Right Form of Payment,
    5: Get Compatible.
    I wish you good luck!
  • Simple just search for some affiliate products and post them in some related articles on your site then in the images link to your website
  • The 500K views of your pinterest account translate in 500k Impressions inside pinterest.

What really matters is how much traffic Pinterest is driving to your Website?

Let me know so i can help you out.

    thanks.

    • Now my account has 1.7 million views per month and second account (survival niche only has 450K). I tried to promote products from ClickBank, there were several transactions. It seems to me that the products from ClickBank are not quite suitable for conversion. Now I want to try different stores with shareasale.

I have a lot of repins per quotes, woodworking, home remodeling.

  • affiliate marketing with affiliate products is a good way to start. Amazon affiliates, Adsense, etc.

  • I guess there is an option in profile to monetize on Pinterest. I would be wrong but I noticed there is an option to check & monetize the complete profile on Pinterest.

  • Find suitable eComm stores and offer them paid ads on your Boards, or even better, set up your own eComm store and use your Boards to promote that.

  • Good ideas from the worriers. But I would suggest that you follow the Highest advice. First thing first. Create a website or a blog. You will them market products on this site. later, you will find a way of directing your Pinterst viewership onto the site. This way, you will make commissions through affiliate marketing.

  • My latest stats, not a single deal. Can't learn how to convert my audience.

  • Guys, How do you get around the changes in reviewing verification applications?
It used to be very easy to add an application and work, but now you have to fill in a lot of fields about your application and so on.

How do you solve this problem if you are using an application?
  • What application do you mean?
    • [1] reply
    • I mean the fact that it used to be possible to create an application in admin panel in half a minute and use WP plugins to publish images etc, but now each application is checked by admin.

A similar situation was with Twitter a year ago.
