Connecting with potential new clients on LinkedIn

Hi there,

I wanted to get some advice regarding connecting with new clients on LinkedIn.

I do freelance marketing and want to reach out to potential new clients on LinkedIn requesting to connect, adding a note asking if they would be interested in having a chat about a service we are currently offering.

I wasn't sure if this would be seen as spam and if LinkedIn could ban me for sending out these sorts of connection requests and the same messages to each person?

If it's okay to do this, should I just send out a few each day?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

If you keep on using same kind of message then pretty sure Linkedin will treat that as a spam and can block you for a while. I used to do that a while ago not right now so aint sure how strict Linkedin policies are right now.

Shouldn't have a problem if like you said you do a couple a day and keep them professional and original.
