How to best organize a donation for a Facebook page?

Hi. I am looking for a fun way to raise money for a good cause through a Facebook page. The collected funds are of course fully donated to the goal in question, but a really cool prize is also raffled among the contributors. Most fundraising apps are quite expensive, while this is more a small-scale (probably even a one-off) promotion by a page with less than 1000 likes. Without app fundraising for a page is apparently impossible to officially organize. Is it an idea to work with the creation of an event in combination with a PayPal link? If so, can the donors be clearly linked to the donated amounts (for the draw)? Other and better (accessible) tips? Thanks!

      That is actually how I tried to get started. But apparently it is not possible to ask for donations as a Facebook page. Unless it's the page of the (verified) cause. In this situation it's a local business wanting to raise money for a local school.

    You have to create a Facebook page first. Then, create some events in which they can participate with. Create amazing images ideas that people can interact and engage with the said events. Post this images to your page. You can also add some videos to help them understand your intention. For the donations, PayPal link will do if you have already a website of the page. You can just literally link it to the site. If not, you can open a bank accounts solely for the foundation and then put the information of it to your posts.
