Which Social Media site brings in the best traffic?

From my previous experience I have seen that Facebook brings the high quality traffic which has good conversion. Rest of the social sites only bring traffic to visit the site. No conversions from there. Thats from my practical experience.

As per my experience, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Reddit & Pinterest give traffic more quickly

I have been doing Search Engine optimization for my personal websites for some time and I feel Social media is key to bring in a lot of traffic.

It all depends on the content. The strategy for each social media is different. For example

1. In Facebook: we need to make people follow us before we write any good content. Understand who is your target audience. Attract them with unique image / video content. These days image / video is more dominant in FB.

2. In Twitter enthusiast, people follow you back if you follow them. Moreover there is more chance of getting Retweeted if you are in touch with key people who are experts in your target domain. Keep interacting with them and engage them

3. In Reddit, you have subreddit for each topics. This has the most chance to get hits if your content is really good. If you are able to write a content which can stay at the top of a subreddit for a day you can get a minimum of 1000 hits. (Depends on the popularity of subreddit).

There are other platforms like Pintrest, Stumble Upon which are little different to the existing ones. But generally the strategy remains the same.

From my experience, LinkedIn brings best traffic to our website. Also, we get conversions through LinkedIn posts.

Facebook so far. But you need to be clever while promoting your service or offer. The best source of quality traffic is from the facebook group. Because that's your niche mine. Make sure you communicate with members and help them. Then you will get more attention which means people will visit your profile. In your profile, you can add your link for promotion. But stay active.

If i'm talking about genuine traffic and conversion, LinkedIn is the best. There may be less impressions compare to Facebook but quality of conversion is great.

For me, Pinterest was the worst, facebook the best.

The answer leads to a whole other question... what are you selling and where can you reach them?

Its not that one is better than the other.. its that one may be better than the rest to reach a particular demographic. Facebook, is killer for older age demographics. IG is killer for younger age demographics. Pinterest is killer for the more thrifty tilted more towards female demographic. LinkedIn is probably more male oriented and obviously on the business side of things.

Again... There isn't an all in one solution or answer here.

Depending on your niche but I have found success using facebook youtube instagram and offcourse google and twitter.You would have to test it out. I think the traffic subject is subjective because two people in the same niche can use the same platform and get different results.

Well, It totally depends upon you which social media you need to target to bring more exposure, traffic, and followers on your website. There's no singular social platform as each has its own niche/purpose.

Personally i like using YouTube. As long as your videos are targeted, you can get leads that will be interested in your business because they have already been pre-framed and have watched your video.

It completely depends on the type of your business/website. Every social media platform has it's own follower base and serves in a different way. Facebook and Twitter will the top priority channels if you are only looking for the "visitors to your website". Linkedin works better if you are looking for "B2B Leads". Pinterest serves better if you have an e-commerce business/website.

Hey, traffic from certain social media depends on niche, e.g. twitter has more people who are interested in "politics", etc. ( let's call them smart ), while on Facebook you can find any kind of people ( young, old, middle-aged, smart, "silly", etc. ), while the most people who use Instagram are young, so personally if I would be looking for high quality traffic for my website e.g. about traveling then I would use Facebook and Twitter, but if I managed website about fitness, food, etc., then I would aim for Instagram. I've had good results with Twitter. Especially in the countries where Twitter is an important source of information: like UK, US, Canada. Personally i believe that FaceBook is the best in so far as actual product sales is concerned. Other social media may bring recognition to a brand etc, but in so far as actual sales is concerned, FaceBook wins hands down.

I used twitter ads long time ago, it was so expensive, more than 20 cents per click to my website meanwhile on facebook ads 3-4 cents for uk
