How do you get Facebook to show you ads?

How do you get Facebook to show you ads in specific niches so you can see what other people are doing in those niches? I want to see their ads and presell pages and all of that.

I tried doing searches of different niches but I guess Facebook didn't pay attention to what I was searching because it didn't show me any ads in those niches.

Is joining facebook groups in each niche the ONLY way to get facebook ads showing in your news feed? The problem with joining a bunch of groups is that then facebook starts showing you all the posts from all the groups you've joined. What if you just want to see a bunch of ads from different niches in your news feed (no group posts), how do you do that?

Thanks. If I understood that you have to click on someone's facebook post which takes you to their website which may or may not have a pixel. If it has a pixel then from that action facebook will know to show you ads related to that niche topic. But do people just have pixels on certain pages? I'm not sure how that works.

I also read that facebook will show you ads based upon what facebook pages you've liked. But then that page's posts will start showing on your news feed and I don't want that. I just want to see ads on my news feed. So maybe I can block their posts from showing on my news feed and still see the ads.

I also read that if you click on ads facebook will show you more ads like it. But I'm not sure how you'd see those ads in the first place unless you've already liked a page, joined a group, or visited someone's website and triggered their pixel.

Two days ago I clicked the top of a facebook ad and went to "why am I seeing this ad". One of the reason it said was because I liked pages related to it. So I went and liked several more pages from several different niches so that it would show me ads in those niches. And it is not showing me any ads from any of those niches. Why is that?

    Hello ncloud

First a little rant. I am constantly amazed at how little knowledge people in this forum have about IM. I don't know your level of experience but I see that you joined in 2014, so I assume that is likely 5 years worth of what I would call inexperience. I'm not picking on you, or Enzo who is the only one who has tried to answer your question so far, he is likely in the same boat with you and the other 99.9% of WF members, most knowing nothing and teaching each other the same. One in here has over 22,000 posts to her name. I guarantee the girls on my staff know more about IM then she does or that most in here do. Not all, some do have the knowledge and have built world class business's, but not very many.

My main little rant is about the fact that most of you don't seem to think that IM business's are real business's. Most would obviously like to make real money from their IM business's but obviously think along the lines of - Geez, why should I put time and effort into this by treating it as real business when money should just flow like magic. If you want to build a business you have to learn your craft, then keep up to date with it. Think about Doctors, who really don't make that much money from their professions or business's, but they first have to spend years before they graduate as Doctors, then they have to keep up to date with every new development in their field.

So, this rant was sponsored by the last 3 threads that I just read, where none of the advice given was worth a pinch of salt. Just the blind leading the blind.

So now I will help you. Facebook will not give you the information you want, if they did it would cost them money because everyone could improve on their Ads and lower their Ad Spend. That is logical thinking.

But near every problem has a solution, and someone has come up with exactly the solution you are looking for. More and better, actually.

Since I can't paste links, do a Google search for: Advertsuite.

And if this helps you in a big way, payback by sponsoring a child from a third world country. You will benefit from doing that as much as the child will. Even more so, if you know what three times bad, three times good is all about!

    Cheers,
    Lindy

Thanks for sharing that. I never heard Advertsuite. Is it any better than Social Ad Scout? I tried that one a while back and it didn't help me at all with what I'm trying to do. There were very few examples and they didn't look like very good ones. I would like to see ads that are promoting Clickbank affiliate offers from a presell page. But I don't see any way to search for that on Advertsuite. Any idea on how you would do that?

    Hello

We use it for our Agency, we havn't used it for ClickBank. The fastest way is just to ask them, explain what you mainly want to do with it.

You might need to reverse this a bit... I get you want to see the Ads on Facebook from sellers / pre sellers of clickbank products. but honestly I just dont think there is a way ON facebook to do this.

But turn this around a bit and find a product on click bank you are interested in, and serch it in google to get affiliates sites. click on the sites and I will bet more often than not they will have links to their Facebook page, and more often than not you will see the Ad creatives there, enter the funnel, and I am assuming that is what you are looking for.

Not the sexiest method, not the easiest method, but one that I would think should do the trick for you.

    Hope that Helps!

That's a good idea, thanks. I'll give that a try too. If I find some websites that way I can also put their URLs into Advertsuite and it might show me some more of their ads.
