Effective Pinterest Marketing Strategy?

I have seen some of the case studies in the past where people use only pinterest as a source of traffic but now pinterest seems to be much restricted.
What is the effective marketing stratigy that still works there?

    I only use Pinterest to build boards that inspire me. I would imagine you build boards that are unique to attract other people to pin and save your pins?

      I am a newbie in this field and an aspiring Virtual Assistant. I am not so techie on the computer so I am really setting off on scratch. I haven't tried Pinterest yet to increase traffic, I would be very thankful for your tips and recommendations. Thank you in advance.

    The great thing about putting together a great Pinterest strategy in 2019 -2020 is the organic traffic. If you do a lot of web searches like I do, you will notice many results on the first page of Google result in pinterest pins. You wont score the first page for high traffic keywords most likely however those medium and low keywords will result in first page of Google for many of your keywords once you accumulate a lot of pins, write effective and SEO skilled descriptions. The hashtags are not as useful as in years past however it will still drive extra traffic to your pins.

    Twitter posts, Facebook pages, etc do not really show up on the first page of Google as puch as Pinterest.

    Used in combination with a paid Pinterest campaign can really have Pinterest as a main source of income. I drive a lot of traffic to many of my Pinterest pins however it does not translate into sales for me for some reason. Maybe I have to drive even more or Pinterest is better for other types of niches than creating a home business.

      yes i am looking to start in that direction but traffic with conversion matters . If you drive traffic and no conversions , need to check the niche or landing pages etc.
