Twitter just announced that they're rolling out tweet scheduling to selected users as part of an experiment. Until recently, the only way to schedule tweets was to use TweetDeck or third-party applications such as HootSuite.

Does this spell demise for hootsuite and tweet deck ? I think it will eliminate the use of the other 2 softwares .

You've been able to schedule tweets on Twitter for a long time. You just need to have an ad account there & "no" you don't have to pay for the tweets. You just uncheck the "promoted-only" box so the tweet is organic.

    See https://business.twitter.com/en/help...ed-tweets.html

I use it every once in a while along with a free Hootsuite account.

Twitter announced a new feature coming to their website. It's a tweet scheduling feature. Just like Facebook, it'll save your tweets for future posts. You don't have to think about how many days to wait before launching an event, updating people, or simply everyday tweeting.

It'll actually save time to a lot of people and advertisers alike.
