Twitter is backtracking
A few days ago we reported that Twitter is slated to delete accounts which have been inactive for more than six months starting December 11.
As it turns out, they're shelving this until they find a way to memorialise users who have passed away.

As you might know, Facebook has a way of memorialising user accounts of those who passed away and requesting for memorialisation is pretty simple - a relative only has to report to Facebook that the owner of a Facebook account has indeed deceased, and send a scanned copy of the death certificate.
As it turns out, they're shelving this until they find a way to memorialise users who have passed away.
