Ahh hashtags. Probably one of the most ubiquitous, yet widely-used tag on social media. It was first widely implemented on Twitter in 2009, before other social media sites followed suit including Instagram. Unlike Twitter where it's recommended to use a maximum of three hashtags, Instagram takes it to a different level with people adding loads of hashtags. It's actually common for people to include 10+ hashtags, with some using the maximum 30.
