Direct Affiliate Link for Facebook advertising possible?

So I'm currently selling a Clickbank product on Facebook Advertising but as Facebook doesn't allow affiliate links I've created a site just for the offer so Facebook can accept the ad. The issue is - from all 600 clicks to my website only 60 have proceeded to the actual Clickbank product page.

A measly 10% is a little depressing.

Is there any way to use the affiliate link directly? Landing Page / Redirect possibly? I just don't want my account getting banned.

All help is much appreciated, thanks, guys.

If you don't want problems with the acct - stay well within the terms of service. Have you considered it may be the product rather than the ads?

Due to the current pandemic I will no longer be shaking hands or giving hugs. You may wave, bow to me or give me the finger...your choice.

The only people clicking the link are people interested in the product. I believe a direct link to the landing page would convert better if only because all potential buyers would get to actually see the products page.

Curious or bored maybe. If they were interested in buying, you would be making sales.

Each and every product has its own website to capture leads and an automated funneling and followup system. Very few sales are made on the first contact.
This is what you should be doing. You will find out how many are actually interested by the number who opt-in..

FB is "surfer" traffic. They are just curious and not looking to buy anything.

You need to find people who are actively searching for what you are selling with buying intent.

To give you solutions, we need to know the problem.

The problem could be the ad, the targeting, something on the landing page.(Yeah, I know, you said only 10% land... Is your landing page loading up all the time? Fast enough?)

Why on earth do you want to use direct linking anyway, you lose when you do that.

Look at myob post above. It's true. Your goal should get them on your list. Once they're on your list, you get to present them an offer several times.

That means, your cost per sale goes down a lot.

Your assumption that only people interested in the product click is off: competitors click too. And people like IGotMine do. And people who meant to do something else. None of them is a large group, still it has an effect what they do.

So, who's your product for and who are you targeting? And when?

I currently promote nearly 300 Clickbank products, some of which are through diversified advertising channels including Facebook.

Each and every product has its own website to capture leads and an automated funneling and followup system. Very few sales are made on the first contact.

I have found it takes 7-12 contacts on average to extract a sale. As far as I know, this is a fairly typical response rate across many niches.

For example, less than 2% buy from me on the first contact, but I'm getting an average of nearly 70% sales from subscribers over the autoresponder sequence.

You need to think very very well all the process ,maybe your site don't look good enough and people dont think you are profesional and just amateur and thats way they dont buy ,maybe tthe traffic doesnt convert as people on facebook are not so much in a buying state .By not building an email list you loose a lot of traffic

I've done ecommerce for several years, haven't dabbled much with clickbank but if you don't have a system in place to capture the leads then you're missing out on A TON of money. Imagine getting half of those 600 clicks as emails.... and you get to contact again in the future regarding that product or even a different product.

Email automation in highly undervalued (like tiktok) in terms of everyone knows or has heard about it, but few are taking advantage of it.

  • How to Run Affiliate Links Through Facebook Ads
Many marketers consider Facebook to be one of, if not the best pay per click advertising platform available. It just has so much going for it! There are billions of users on the site, all of which have a ton of personal information added to their databases. That information makes for extremely robust and accurate targeting for advertising. The volumes involved mean that the ads tend to be pretty cheap for nearly all demographics. Plus, with the right kind of objective, you only pay when someone actually clicks through, meaning you can be getting thousands of views for absolutely free.

To me, this sounds like a great opportunity for affiliate marketing. After all, affiliate marketing works by getting people to click a link; if you only pay for people who click the link, you're practically guaranteed to make money. If you can pay $10 for a ton of clicks and make $100 from those clicks all told, you're raking in the profit. Plus, you don't even need much for Facebook ads. A little copy, a compelling image, and you're up and running in minutes.

The question is, does Facebook allow it? Can you actually do this, or will Facebook take action against you if you try?

Sounds like there could be some disconnect between your ad and the page you're sending them to

You should send them to your optin page and collect emails.

As others have mentioned, most people will not buy right away and you will need to follow up with them.

    Don't bother direct linking.
Get your autoresponder set up and continue to stay in touch with your subscribers.

Keep emailing them on a regular and consistent basis until they buy or unsubscribe.

you can also try to make a simple page with a video showing you using and explaining a part of the product you are promoting.

giving some value upfront and building trust before they are visiting your link always helps and increases the number of sales.

His problem is that he does wants them to go directly to the sale page. A small number will do that. And he has no way of contacting them again, not to mention he loses some of the ones that did not go to the sales page that could have been converted with email 3 or 6 or 4.

IF you do it like you describe it here it's entirely possible to advertise your product with that Clickbank affiliate link on it, I did such thing 10 years ago and all was extremely fine anyway by many many params out there clearly and possibly.
