Social Media Today reports that reverse engineering expert Jane Manchung Wong discovered a new Polls feature in the back-end code of the LinkedIn app. This will give users the option to share polls to LinkedIn followers on anything and everything without having to use a third-party poll app.

The poll option would be shown within the post composer, and when selected users can add whatever poll question they deem fit. Then, they can set the poll duration, post as usual to LinkedIn, and get survey results.

While this isn't available to all users just yet, it will soon be available to desktop and mobile users. There's no also official word from LinkedIn just yet, but I'll keep everyone in the loop.

That's good news. I like to interact with people through polls. It is much more interactive than other ways of content on social media

  • Ohhh, this is exciting! I've been wanting to do polls on LinkedIn for such a long time. It'll definitely give us a better idea of what our fans want from our page.

If you want to know what people are thinking then a poll is a very good idea. I a, suprided that linkedin tokk that long to allowit users to create polls in the platform without third partied being involved. Facebook has had this feature for a very long time now. Linkedin is like a very serious platform and the organisation should have thought abou this and made it way back. Anyway there is not much to complain about. I mean that the good things is that they have finally made it. I will try it out and see just how well it works. Polls are awesome and rarely do people ignore polls. people like showing others what they think and like through polls.
