LinkedIn Pages can now host virtual events

In response to a sudden and rapid shift from in-person to online events, LinkedIn Pages can now create virtual events. This is made possible by combining two existing LinkedIn features - LinkedIn Events and LinkedIn Live. These now work together, allowing anyone to stream live video content directly to LinkedIn Events attendees.

Not surprised here - LinkedIn is perhaps the only professional and business-centric social network, and hosting live events on the platform allows marketers to reach professionals faster than if they were to send event links via email.

  • I like this. Hosting a event on Linkedin gives the event an atmosphere of professionalism. It's hard to take an online event seriously if the platform allows you to have cat ears while giving a speech.

That's a very good update from LinkedIn. Moreover, I'm enjoying LinkedIn polls nowadays. It is real fun to be professional and creative at same time!!
