Will you still post on Instagram if they remove likes?

Recently, Instagram had started removing the number of likes that are displayed on certain accounts, and has promoted celebrities like Nicki Minaj, saying they won't post on the 'gram anymore after removing the likes.

Chime in.

yes, of course. I think Instagram has a better idea to replace "likes". Let's see...

Of course I would still post to Instagram if my posts were reaching the right people.

Ofcourse I will because likes do not equate to sales. My purpose on instagram or any socialmedia channel is to get engagement then convert those engaging into subscribers and buyers .

If it means celebs like Minaj stop posting...I think that would be an improvement.

The problem with 'likes' as a measure is that to get more and more likes people post more outrageous comments - try to outdo each other to get attention....and the site becomes only "MEdia". It's a race to get the most likes - which indicate attention, but not necessarily quality or intelligent commentary.

May sound cynical - but, then, I'm not much of a social media fan.
