Facebook deleted my business page

Without any action from me, other than changing my password, Facebook has deleted my business page.
I have six business pages managed through Facebook Business Manager, and you can imagine my shock when I logged on to find one of them HAD VANISHED!!
Has this happened to anyone else on here?
After a long dialogue through their livechat, I was left being told 'someone ... the administrator ... had deleted the page'
'But THAT'S ME! And I haven't deleted anything!'
To which Facebook replied - we cannot see who the admin is, but it isn't you (i.e. me) and there's nothing we can do to recover it.
The page was ten years old and had been used for paid ad campaigns and countless regular posts - all now vanished.
PLEASE - anyone - has this happened to you? And if so, what did you do??
This has got me baffled / furious / doubting my own sanity.

    Don't put all your eggs in one basket when it comes to Facebook
    (or any other platform) since you have no control over it. They are
    known to delete people's FB groups and everything else.

    If you continue to use your other business pages, try to backup
    as much information as you can. If you have any kind of group
    on there make sure you get people's contact information.

    I don't know what else to tell you.

    Facebook deletes business pages without any reason, and this has happened to many people. The best thing you can do is not to depend only on Facebook. There are social media platforms like Instagram, Pinterest, Reddit, and Twitter that can help get the benefits of Facebook.

    This also teaches you that you have to back up your information so you if this happens with you again, you won't lose the information, and you won't have to start from the beginning.

    I just created a new business page. But when I went to enter the username it said not eligible.

    Everything online will tell you that you now need to get 25 likes first but I already knew that was not true. Plus who wants to start promoting their new page without the username that could then get scooped up by someone else?

    Anyway I found a method/hack to instantly get your new username and that is have a friend set as admin or create a new facebook that has never been an admin to a page and make that new FB profile an admin and boom username added.

    I almost lost a new Instagram by confirming it with a mobile number that I already used on an old account. It would have been gone forever just like that in seconds but I caught myself and used a different number and all good now.

    It's amazing that they can take down a legitimate page for no reason yet I've been trying unsuccessfully for the last two days to take down an impersonator profile of my business page.

    There live chat support is pretty useless.

      Update on this, I lodged a copyright infringement against the scam site, and Facebook took down my posts instead. The incompetence is real.

        I can relate to your frustration and I'm sorry this has happened to you.

        Is it possible that you are dealing with FB bots?

        Try to contact a real person and be patient since they have millions of users.

          Thank you. It's really frustrating, I am emailing real people right now but each time a different person responds. It doesn't look as though they assign a single person to any case number, so they keep asking for the same info (three times now)

            With a corporation like Facebook you are unlikely to get
            the same person twice. I don't know how their help desk
            works, but they really should have a ticket system.

            Either way, include all your issues each time so it doesn't
            need researching --

            On 2 Sep I noticed my content was stolen

            On 5 Sep I reported this matter to FB staff

            and so on ending with --

            Please reinstate my content which was erroneously deleted.


            I usually draft these types of correspondence in Notepad
            so I can copy and paste.

            It's hard not to get upset when dealing with incompetence,
            especially if it affects your income.

              Thank you this is good advice, I have not been as meticulous with my responses. Can't give up, it's alot lost.
